Welcome to Filey Folk Festival!

Filey Folk Festival is one of the mainstays of this North Yorkshire seaside town's musical year. Expect a broad range in styles of folk, blues, country and acoustic performers and bands, and a very warm welcome and a famously friendly atmosphere. You can catch well over 100 acts performing live at the participating venues and perhaps also busking around town. Pub/Café/Restaurant & Guitar Shop gigs run all weekend and admission is FREE for everyone.

There are also special evening ticketed events at the EVRON CENTRE CONCERT HALL (see poster on this page), plus the unique listening atmosphere of daytime and evening shows at the MASONIC HALL.

Filey Folk Festival 2016 will also incorporate the world famous Piebald Inn, in the nearby village of Hunmanby. It will be a hosting a Sunday 1st May afternoon show (2pm until 6pm). A good 6/7 mile scenic walk is being organised to this concert, its sets off from Filey School on Muston Road at 10am. Contact walk organiser Mr Chris Lee 07808 871118 or email for finer details.

Once again the ART PROJECT continues to develop. This years exhibition takes place in the back room of the STATION "Tophouse" Pub in Church Street, Filey, (Saturday 30th April, 12pm - 4pm). Specifically aimed at musicians who are 'good with a brush aswell as their instruments', if you wish to exhibit any art, contact Shirley Higton Its FREE to display !

 Filey Folk Club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at the Station Pub, Church Street, Filey.
